Panic - Banana Funeral Shoot

These pictures are from my banana funeral shoot, the original brief asked for a stop motion animation, which has been fulfilled by the main banana panic feature. I have decided to shoot the panic teaser on video and attempt to apply mouths to the fruit using after effects.

Panic - Sound Tests
Sound tests, it was hard recording the sound and trying to keep it in time with the lip sinking. These unsuccessful tests could be used as out takes on the dvd menu.
Recording Session
Last night I went to Will Tapply's house to use Logic, and his microphone set up. I recorded the sound for my Panic and Cannibals Briefs, This is my first time using logic and i think it went really well. An amazing feature is the ability to watch your animation in the same time as your recording. It has lead me to think i may need to invest in a decent Microphone.

Panic - Title Sequence
After Movement
After Movement meaning the rhythm that the letters in "Panic" move. one, after the other.
Before Movement
Before Movement meaning one before the other, changing the lead letter.
Before And After
Before and after making both ends move simultaneously, this is the movement i have chosen for the "panic" squeeze.
Final Title Sequence
I have slightly edited the movement of the banana to create a more realistic and natural pace as it falls to the floor.

Speed 4
Even though there is very little text on my credit list the most effective sequence is the longest, Speed 4 is the most comfortable to read and still moving at an acceptable pace.
I have applied the "Easy Ease In" Key Frame Assistant and edited the speed on the speed-graph to keep a steady pace until just near the end, when it slows down. this is to give the impression of a reel slowing down.

Panic - Presentation Board Post
Initial tampering on Photoshop searching for the right tone and mood, I decided that I wanted a prominent circle of light, and vivid yellow banana skin. Without the banana skin becoming too bleached.
